From October 6-10, 2024, the Network for Research and Training (NRT) successfully completed a collaborative RISE Respect Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As a key partner, NRT joined forces with Change Associates Ltd. and Mamata under the broader RISE Respect initiative, aimed at empowering women workers, promoting gender equality, and catalyzing systems change in global supply chains.
The workshop agenda, covering five intensive days, focused on critical topics such as understanding gender social norms, combating gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH), and fostering communications skills. NRT actively facilitated various sessions, contributing its expertise in capacity building and gender-sensitive training to ensure that participants are well-equipped to become “Change Makers” within their organizations.
This impactful collaboration exemplifies NRT’s commitment to creating harassment-free, just, and inclusive workplaces while supporting initiatives that advance gender equality in the global supply chain.
NRT remains dedicated to working closely with partners like Change Associates and Mamata to drive sustainable gender and social inclusion reforms in business practices.
