- Scope: Finalized ten venues nationwide in consultation with ILO and DoL to conduct day-long workshops on gender equality and elimination of workplace violence and harassment.
- WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES: The objectives of this workshop were as follows: – To increase the understanding of participants on Gender equality and elimination of violence and harassment in the workplace – To educate the participants about the High Court verdict on the prevention of Sexual Harassment in 2009 – To enhance the understanding of participants through training sessions and discussions on the Concept of Gender-sensitive workplace culture.
- Workshop Agenda: Department of Labour (DOL) completed a total of 10 (Ten) one-day-long workshops simultaneously in 10 venues on “Gender equality and elimination of violence and harassment in the workplace”. From 12 November to 3rd December 2022, a total of 10 workshops were completed by the Department of Labour (DOL).
- PARTICIPANTS’ PROFILE Total of 331 (M-258, F-63) DOL Officials has Participated in these Ten batches of day-long workshop completed on 3rd December 2022.
- Activity Completed During the Reporting Period:
- Coordination Meeting: NRT held a coordination meeting with DOL and ILO to determine workshop dates, venue requirements, participant needs, and overall workshop preparation.
- Logistics Coordination: NRT managed logistics-related activities necessary for setting up the workshops.
- Planning: NRT planned logistics, food, stationery, and training materials for attendees across ten different locations, including Dhaka, Sylhet, Chittagong, Narayangonj, Rajshahi, Bagura, and Khulna.
- Supply Management: NRT purchased and distributed training supplies, stationery, certificates, participant allowances, and honoraria for master trainers from DOL who conducted the workshop sessions.
- Coordination Support: NRT provided essential coordination support to DOL to facilitate the successful workshop sessions.
- Progress Reporting: NRT submitted a final technical and financial progress report upon completion.
